The air ticket searching electronic platform is designed exclusively for organizing the process of searching and acquisition of air tickets for state business trips. In order to organize this process properly, the relevant government agency or government-funded air tickets purchasing body under the signed contract is granted access to the platform and is responsible for appropriate functions (searching, booking, confirmation or cancellation, etc.) on behalf of the organization (hereinafter referred to as the Client) to implement.
Clients' acquisitions via platform are recorded and published by EKENG CJSC at www.govtravel.am, and air tickets purchased from other agencies are published in accordance with the provisions of Government Decree No. 982-N of September 22, 2016.
The logic, mechanisms and capabilities of the Electronic Platform derive from the logic and requirements of the relevant legal acts, as well as the issues of transparency and accountability of air ticket purchases at the expense of state funds.
Booking searches
Only the person designated by the given organization can search for bookings on the electronic platform.
Booking confirmation/rejection
Only the confirming person can reject, return to edit, or confirm the booking. Once the booking is approved, the transaction is considered to be a legally binding contractual obligation, it is considered unconditionally signed and is not a subject to cancellation by the client without negative financial consequences. The booking may be rejected or returned to edit if it does not comply with the general airline rules.
Air ticket issuance
On the basis of each confirmed booking, the airline ticket is issued electronically by EKENG CJSC.
Payment
Payment for issued air tickets is made on the basis of the relevant billing documents that have been issued under the terms of the relevant organization (TIN) under the contractual mechanism.
