Armenian School on Internet Governance

Internet Society NGO (ISOC Armenia) has launched the first Armenian school on Internet Governance (ArmSIG). The school has been launched in Yerevan with a 5-day course from 17-21 July, dedicated to students from Armenian universities.
The main objective of ArmSIG is to involve students from various universities across Armenia in discussions over Internet governance related issues, to provide them with skills enabling their further effective participation in national, regional and global Internet governance related processes.
During the course the Director of EKENG CJSC, Artur Tunyan made a speech on eSignature and eHealth in Armenia. He presented the eGovernance projects that EKENG is implementing, with a special emphasis on the eHealth project, which is a centralized and automatized electronic system that enables the comprehensive governance of all state and private medical institutions.
